Last weekend I was taking some things to the thrift store for my mother and while I was waiting for them to see if they wanted any of it I shopped around. I stumbled upon a sort of shabby looking, off white, old fashioned suitcase. The latches worked but it was much too small to actually put clothes it, I had no real use for it. The little blue sticker said "$12." A little steep I thought but something in me wanted that suitcase. So I took it home.

Good thing I did. I cleaned it up a little bit and now it shines. Turns out there are some pockets inside that are just the right size for my scissors. And the loops on the lid fit my rubber cement bottle just perfectly. The main part is the right size for papers for collages and my paper cutter and stamp pad.

Behold the crafty suitcase!

I can take my supplies where ever the crafting bug calls. I am so excited. Now I just need the craft bug to call me somewhere besides my bedroom floor.
